DCC announced its results for the year ended 31 March 2019 on 14th May, reporting excellent performance and new acquisitions with all four divisions recording very strong profit growth.

DCC announced its results for the year ended 31 March 2019 on 14th May, reporting excellent performance and new acquisitions with all four divisions recording very strong profit growth.

DCC Technology (Exertis) recorded very strong growth with operating profit increasing by 35.1%, driven by acquisitions completed in the current year and strong organic profit growth in the UK & Ireland, driven by market share gains and growth in the mobile, datacentre and AV sectors. The business also benefited from the continued development of its service proposition, including device life cycle management.

In addition, DCC Technology announced the intended acquisitions of COMM-TEC in Germany and Amacom in the Netherlands. Amacom is a leading supplier of consumer electronics and small domestic appliances whilst COMM-TEC is a leading supplier of Pro AV solutions. Both will substantially strengthen DCC Technology’s position in Continental Europe.
