Huawei did launch their Honor Play gaming phone at IFA – aimed at power users and gamers on a mid-range budget. It comes with a 6.3-inch full HD display, Kirin 970 chip, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 16MP+2MP rear cameras, 16MP front camera and a 3,750mAh battery.

The phone has a special “GPU Turbo” mode that boosts the graphics performance by up 60 per cent while reducing power consumption by up to 30 per cent. According to Huawei, PUBG Mobile players will see a noticeable performance boost. The Honor Play also has an “AI 4D Smart Shock” feature which is supposed to enhance vibrations during gameplay so that you literally feel the action and with headphones gamers get 3D surround sound to make games a more immersive experience.
