The PC market is still in decline, the number of PC shipments fell to 58.5 million in Q1 2019, according to research firms Gartner and IDC.

Both found PC shipments were down by the same amount globally year-over-year. So far, 2019 looks like more of the same.

Gartner estimates that worldwide PC shipments fell 4.6%. The top six vendors were Lenovo, HP, Dell, Apple, Asus, and Acer but only the first three saw gains in PC shipments.
