Rebrand of Exertis Hammer amongst key initiatives announced.

Basingstoke, UK, 1st July 2020: – Exertis, a leading route-to-market and supply chain partner for global technology brands across consumer, business and enterprise announced, today, the following initiatives pertaining to its enterprise division including:

  • Exertis Hammer to be rebranded as Exertis Enterprise across the UK and Europe
  • Expansion of its enterprise network portfolio at Exertis Go Connect in the Benelux
  • Enhanced logistics facilities to serve its European operation
  • Launch of an Exertis Enterprise virtual event in the UK

Hammer first became part of the Exertis Group when it was acquired in 2016, strengthening Exertis’ enterprise portfolio in the mid and higher range server and storage market, and widening its European geographic footprint. In July 2018, the Hammer and Exertis commercial and sales teams were integrated, providing a more comprehensive and compelling offering to customers under the Exertis Hammer brand.

James Ward, Exertis Enterprise, managing director, said “Having consolidated the businesses over a period of time, it’s now time to rebrand the division. We are rightly proud of Hammer’s history and its huge success which we’re honoured to have achieved. Hammer’s ethos and value-add approach, which have remained unchanged for nearly 30 years, provide a solid framework for Exertis Enterprise. Our specialist focus, together with our flexible, innovative and consultative nature, will remain unchanged as we continue to drive mutual growth for our vendors and resellers.”

The Exertis Enterprise division has offices in the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden (serving the Nordic region), The Netherlands and Spain (serving Iberia).

The networking business unit at Exertis Go Connect, serving the Benelux region, has now been integrated with the former Exertis Hammer teams, providing a more comprehensive portfolio and expertise which resellers in the region can benefit from. In addition, the extension of its logistics and warehouse facilities in that geography can accommodate faster and more efficient delivery across Europe.

Steve Cowley, Exertis Enterprise, European, general manager said: “We have a great platform to extend our business across Europe combining local market knowledge with the ability to offer key vendors a pan European footprint and economies of scale. By leveraging the value-added services that we can offer, our resellers also have a compelling proposition for their customers.”

With the current restrictions in mind, the Exertis Enterprise team will also be running a virtual event on 15th July which will be live for 30 days. “Stay Home, Stay Connected” will showcase the latest innovations in cybersecurity, data storage and home working solutions. The virtual roadshow will offer the ‘live event’ experience with the chance for customers to chat directly with key representatives, engage in seminar sessions, visit vendor booths and find out the latest information on products, solutions and opportunities.  The event can be accessed at: https://exertisenterprise.online-events.co.uk.
