Exertis has now planted 1000 trees on behalf of Lenovo

Designing, developing, building, and delivering world-class devices takes energy. By thinking smarter, Lenovo has found a way to overcome the challenge of creating top-of-the-range innovations whilst finding a way to minimise its greenhouse gas emissions in specific measurable and meaningful ways.

It all starts with science

Lenovo’s newest emission reduction targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This means they’ve been externally verified to support global scientific goals, such as the Paris Agreement, to limit the global temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

One step further

Lenovo have done their bit to maximise the use of recycled and recyclable materials, ensuring that their devices are contributing toward a sustainable future. But Lenovo have not just stopped there, in their bid to build a smarter future, for customers, colleagues, and the planet, they have contracted Exertis to plant 1,000 trees on behalf of Lenovo.

Small change, big impact

Climate change is harming our planet, but if we all make a small change, we can make a big impact. With one tree sequestering an estimated 0.3t of CO2 over its growth life, imagine what 1,000 trees will do for the environment.  

Lenovo did more than just imagine, by planting 1,000 trees they made it a reality. And this was all possible in one click.
