13th April 2022 Staying resilient with Lenovo

Keep you and your customers ready and prepared for anything

If we’ve learned anything over the past couple of years, it’s that today’s workforce can be extremely resilient with the right tools. As we pass the 2nd anniversary of Covid-19 being declared a global pandemic, many businesses still find themselves dealing with the challenges and changes brought on by this sudden and drastic change of circumstance.

As a leading technology distributor, we at Exertis know all too well that change is constant, and being able to adapt to your surroundings is important. During the Covid-19 pandemic, organisations worldwide have been able to perform at their best, due to their resilient staff, and the ability to give them the tools they need to succeed in even the most unprecedented situations. Not only were many businesses able to adapt to the sudden transformation to the digital workspace, but they were also able to keep their teams productive at a time of uncertainty. A big contributor to this resilience was the technology – like that found in Lenovo’s industry-leading range – that enabled businesses to keep running smoothly, even in the face of adversity.

A brand-new workplace

Results from a survey carried out by Sap Concur confirmed what many have assumed – 88% of 552 senior executives interviewed as part of the study agreed that the events of 2020 and beyond will forever change how businesses operate. Over the past 24 months, hybrid working has become the new normal, but many still remember the time where the sudden shift to remote working took a significant toll on employees, and their productivity.

When companies worldwide received ‘stay at home’ orders, there was an overarching feeling of uncertainty. On average, 85% of firms reported that the pandemic was one of their top three sources of business uncertainty from March 2020 to March 2021. Keeping the same organisational agility that was once possible in standard office formats is more effort with remote working, and colleagues had to navigate the sudden shift to communication via instant messaging and emails, as opposed to face-to-face discussions.

93% of the senior executives surveyed by Sap Concur agreed that maintaining organisation agility is the only way to navigate uncertainty. In order to do this without face-to-face communication, businesses became heavily reliant on technology that could make the process of working from anywhere easier – such as the products offered in Lenovo’s range.

Boost resilience

Now, more than ever before, businesses have the power to ensure their success with the right technology. Organisations are looking to invest in products that are just as resilient as their teams. Lenovo has been a key player in changing the game when it comes to products that are durable and designed to withstand anything your customers may encounter in their workday.
